So, what would happens if I fly, say, 300 meters and land. What happens if I press RTH? will it take off and return to the last Home or will it reset to current location?

Following I would like to know the answer to this as well.

To the best of my knowledge "Home" is no longer valid when landing is complete. Next take off should record a new "Home" point.
That being the case it would NOT return to the "Home" point that was 300m away.

Got that..but the scenario here is:

1. Take off
2. Fly for 300 meters
3. Land (using auto or manual landing)
4. Press RTH while motors are off.

What happens?

Thought so.  So, I think to return:

1. Restart Props
2. Set Home Point to Controller via DJI Go 4 settings
3. Click RTH

That should work ?

Yes, that is correct.

I have tried this..  Took off and flew to an open spot in a field a few hundred feet away.  Landed, propellers stopped.  Took off again and heard it say 'the home point has been updated'  flew it back to me and initiated a return to home.  it went back and landed in the field from where it took off.  I thought this might be a useful 'feature' if  you don't necessarily want the drone coming back to you.  For instance, someone is harassing you about flying.. you can simply hit RTH and have the drone land in a safe location away from you and the harasser.
