Which do you prefer and why.

I like the 128 capacity but I have lost data in the past mainly in cell phones and that is a lot of data to lose. Is the 64gb more ideal for fail safe measures?

Even though I have lost data in the past, I am optimistic that failure rates will decline..  so give me that 128gb!

I think that 128gb is better because you are less likely to run out of space.
If lost data is a concern, just dump the contents of the memory more often and don't wait for it to fill up

I use 32gb because I primarily shoot stills.
I transfer data after all flights, so no reason to use bigger, costlier cards.

Any bigger than 64GB is pointless

64GB is around 2.5 hours of 4K/30, the remote will have died well before that at which point you're out of juice, as soon as a memory card touches a PC or Mac it should be formatted when put back in the device to prevent corruption, therefore you're better off with multiple 64GB cards than a 128GB

with 64 Go I can take videos and photos during a drone session with my 5 batteries
save and clean the SD card after each drone session is a safety solution to avoid loose too much data in case of crash

For me, the sweetspot is having multiple 32gb cards rather than 1 large card that can fail. I'd rather lose half or 1/3 of my recorded stuff than all of it.

I prefer to have multiple 32-64gb cards and replace them after each flight. I don't want to risk loosing the data on a large card in case something goes wrong on my last flight of the day.

At least 3 - 64GB cards. I don't want all my chickens in one basket. ;)

In summary of the above advise, I opt for 32G card in order to avoid all chickens in one basket, and 32G is cheaper. Also, 64GB is around 2.5 hours of 4K/30, so 32GB is around 1.25 Hours of 4K/30 for 4 flight per venue.

Thanks for creating this poll. I would recommend using 128 GB for you to save lots of videos especially if you used the drone for the job, however, it would depend on your preferences. Thanks for the support.

2 x 64 GB, 6 batteries and 1 Smatree Powerstation = hours flying the Air. One SD card is for spare/backup. I change the card one time over the day to prevent data loss.

If I get 20min video on a flight or one hour with my three batteries, that's about my top productivity. This fits perfectly to a 64GB card.
Even we start to see 200+Mbps (25MB/s or 90GB/hour) on board the not-too-far future birds, 64GB will make sense, it will still last 2 full flights.

You paid 12.56 more than if you would have bought the 128Gb. And if you bought 4 of them then you have more pieces to lose. Oh well, to each their own I guess.

i have several cards..  my primary being 128GB.. this is because for most part i dont need to swap or wipe nearly as often. i can leave it in my drone way longer....set it and forget it.   and in my experience they last longer too, specially if you dont constantly fill them up and wipe them out..  im sure less wear and tear on larger cards because less writing over same area again and again which is fastest way to kill flash memory..

there is 1 bad thing about that, if my drone take off and flies away from me or crashes and cant be recovered... i may lost way more footage..

How do you transfer your video and photos outdoor? Do you have any device, other than computer, can do it?

I rarely, if ever, need to transfer outdoors.  If for some reason I do need to, I have WD Wireless Pro HD.

There are a few kinds of these, but this is my favourite. The first link will take you to the Canadian Amazon site which is where I bought it. Once, a long time ago, I forgot to clean out the 16 gig that came with the drone. When the card was full, the video display just blacked out. Luckily I was within LOS.  Since then, I run 64 gig extreme cards in all my aircraft.  Just in case.

Beware of cheap SD cards sold on Amazon and eBay, they may be fakes https://www.phonearena.com/news/Beware-of-fake-microSD-cards-Heres-how-to-tell-a-counterfeit-from-the-original_id77769. Typical symptoms are slow memory card errors.

You paid enough for your bird, don't compromise your investment with a cheap SD card

I just bought a Lacie DJI Commander. its 2 TB system to backup you cards in the field either direct from drone or after you remove card.
