DJI has become increasingly popular among professionals from the media, entertainment, film and broadcasting industry, which have found easier and new creative ways to film using DJI’s flying cameras and stabilisation sytems.
This year, DJI pushed the limit of innovation with new tools catered for the professional film industry with the launch of the DJI Ronin-S, offering an advanced and precise stabilisation sytem for DSLR cameras. In addition, DJI introduced new cinema grade tools with DJI Master Wheels and DJI Force Pro that offer professional gimbal control solutions for every type of filmmaker and scenario. Finally, DJI also innovated in aerial solutions with the launch of the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom.
At IBC 2018, DJI will unveil MULTILINK, designed specifically for use with the DJI INSPIRE 2 professional drone and remote controller as well as the DJI CENDENCE. MULTILINK can create a master-slave controller network with up to three slave remote controllers. The multiple slave controllers form a star network with the master controller as the hub, sending commands to the aircraft via the slave controllers. Slave controllers receive the image and video signal from the aircraft directly.
DJI Ronin-S: The Handheld stabilisation system for DSLR and mirrorless cameras empowering creators to shoot with the freedom of stabilised shots on the move. Utilising DJI’s powerful three-axis gimbal technology, the Ronin-S delivers smooth, shake-free video and crisp photos, adding a cinematic and professional look to your work.
Powerful high-torque motors support a payload of up to 3.6kg to accommodate the most popular camera and lens combinations including the Canon 1D and 5D, Panasonic GH and Sony Alpha series. Users will have a control over camera settings for compatible cameras. The Ronin-S includes a suite of automated features within the DJI Ronin app, letting you produce even more creative professional footage to unlock your true filmmaking potential.

Built to deliver precise gimbal movements, these new products offer filmmakers reliable tools that help capture complex shots with ease while adding a cinematic quality to any scene. Master Wheels and Force Pro control DJI’s Ronin 2 and Ronin-S gimbals, expanding the creative possibilities for cinematographers of varying experience levels.
