not at all it is a totally different product...
It does image stabilization for DSLR.
There is no possibility to do that the x5s and x5 are totally different cameras
Unfortunately, we have no info regarding this, please pay attention to our website about the future updates. The current Osmo has a calculation chip inside X3,X5 cameras. But with X5S camera, the chip is inside the drone. So their working mechanism is totally different and not just an adaptor issue.

Was it not announced a handheld gimbal when Inspire 2 was announced, well over a year ago?
The chip on the handheld is not the same as the X5S and we don't have any information if we will release a converter for our customer to use the X5S to the Osmo's handheld like for X5 and X5R.

Yes, it was. And then it was "coming soon". Now that the X7 is out, I really don't expect the Osmo to ever support the x5s.
Thank's, then I remember right.
Well, then it is probably coming soon then, in DJI language. In English - never. Luring people into buying the Inspire 2, with their promise to use the Inspire 2 camera on a new Osmo version. Great job, DJI.

No, not today's Osmo, but there was supposed to be released a New Osmo handle compatible with the Inspire 2 cameras. Many probably got fooled over that promise and bought the Inspire 2 with the knowledge that they could use it as a handheld camera also.
DJI always teasing functions. Misguiding the public.
