Hi everyone, recently I had an ESC problem with my P3SE so I bought a new centerboard in order to replace the old one but i noticed that the two codes on the top of the new one are different from the ones on the other; is it a problem? should I replace it anyway or you think that it may cause problems?

Hi there, we don't recommend self repair because it can void your warranty. Kindly contact our support team to start up a case: (https://www.dji.com/support?site=brandsite&from=nav). We have the professional data analysis team who would do their best to find out the reason of the ESC problem and then the corresponding resolution would be provided. You can provide your case number here in case you need further assistance.

The SE is not nearly as popular as many of the other Phantoms, so it's tough to find answers to problems like this.  If the new board is a newer more modern board than the one you're replacing, my guess is it will be fine since it would likely be engineered to be compatible with your other parts.  For example, if the ESCs have been updated/upgraded, they would likely work with any SE motor.  You might go to the dedicated SE forum on the other site and research further.

Good luck

You might want to pm Nelson Lee also.  He owns a P3 SE and is very familiar with them.
