My spark is flying all over the place like it has a mind of its own. DJI Go starts off green with 17 satellites but after I take off it starts flying on its own, the top bar goes red and says “Mode”. What mode is that? Also it complains of compass errors. What do I do?

I just dealt with a very similar problem. I calibrated the IMU first and then the compass second. If you’re a newb like me watch some videos first on the proper way to do it. Since I recalibrated I’ve went through 4 batteries with no warnings. Hope this helps!The “mode” error you’re receiving is probably atti mode. Watch some videos on how that works too. That way you can be prepared if it happens again.

Cal the IMU on a level surface at home then the compass at your location in an area away from any interference/heavy metal objects.
