Hi, yesterday one of my 3 batteries suddenly gave this error. Only 4-5 charges on it.

already tried to fully discharge until battery powers itself off, then charge to full, no effect.

battery leds works just fine, showing current discharge/charging level, capacity also seem to be ok.

looks like just some error in data communication with mavic.

everything is on latest FW.

any suggestions please?

Probably kaput, should be under warranty though.

R.I.P. battery number 1 of three, send it in DJI will replace it...

You received this error because the Mavic 2 Pro is obsolete and has a fish-eye Hasselblad camera.

I'm glad this didn't happen during flight.

I tried to refresh FW with assistant but it return "unable to update battery firmware" error. as a result assistant did send some report to DJI server I believe.

I am not 100% sure about the M2 Battery,  but to me it appears overcharged a bit..... the cells should not read higher than 4.3vdc/cell

4.35 seems a bit high.

Are your other batteries reporting the same voltage per cell???

Cells on mine are always 4.32-4.35V at 100% charge. Have only flown about a dozen flights so far, and the other two batteries in the FMK are still on back order.

Airdata shows cell 4 can deviate a tiny bit, but it's well within expectations, and I haven't had so much as an errant twitch out of the machine so far ^__^

Did you create a case?  If not, create a case so you can get the ball rolling to receive a replacement battery.  I doubt there's anything you can do to fix it now since the refresh firmware failed.

Sucks that you are down a battery.

Most time it means the processor in the aircraft cannot communicate with the processor in the battery. Cleaning the contacts is a good start, both on the battery and the aircraft.
