All the time i use the 9 photo pano it will make the photo look funny on sides. How do you use it?do you have some photos examples?

Thanks for answer. I used a lot 360 and other modes. Im reffering only at pano mode with 9 photos only. It makes a smaller pano which is cool
But its looking funny on sides(as in my example photo)

It is just to get a bigger picture than the normal 12MP photo

The sample foto looks like it was stored on the device as it’s the cached version.
You need to download directly from the sd card.

Try stitching with Microsoft ICE software. You can get just about any look you want with your panos and get great hi res pics.

I enjoy that panaramas just as much if not more so than the video

It is really important, which app/prog is stitching the 3x3.
And, of course, if you use it horizontal/vertical or somewhere in the middle of that
Actually, before the Sphere option, I have used the 3x3 for "down" pictures, to create a Sphere with 2 7x3 picture Panos plus 1 or 2 3x3 Pictures
Even now, in case you have some homogenous ground under the bird, it can be helpfull to capture 2 90° turned 3x3 ground pictures and add them to the Sphere pics
In case you aren't using the app, but work on PC or Mac

Also it is affected by the distance to the motive. If you doing that picture 5meters away from something, or 500m away ;-)

Are you doing the 21 stitching with pictures taken the same horizontal (0°) angle?
As I wrote, as soon you are somewhere between 0° and -85°, you will have distortions.
remember, the 21 pictures is always taking the middle row on 0°, plus one row up, one row down
The 3x3, however, stays with the middle picture where you did point it at.

When you say 0 angle you are reffering to the position of the gimbal?
