Hello I bought the ronin-s on release day based off the original information and specifications which claimed there will be shutter control, focus control and compatibility with creative shooting modes.

I read that the features will be coming in future firmware update (as it said in the original release notes) so I am happy the support is coming. But will I have to buy one of the newly released cables to get this functionality??

NO WHERE ON THE ORGINAL RELEASE NOTES DID IT SAY “FEATURE AVAILABLE WITH THE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL ACCESORIES”.

It said “*available with future firmware release”

So will I receive one of these cables for free if it is required for the soon to be supported functions?
