My Samsung S7 disconnected while the M2Z was 1140m from the home point.
I restarted the S7 and resumed the flight. The M2Z was hovering (although it is set to RTH if disconnected!)
Looking at the summary of the flight on airdata, I see that the home point has been reset to the place where it disconnected.
Has anyone ever had such an experience? Is there an explanation?

Both of your logs show the home point is at 43.51875801, 5.50440745.

I'm not sure why Airdata is showing something different. It looks like a bug in their log viewer.

I'll inform Airdata: as you say it should be a bug in their system

Apparently, Airdata team worked on this problem.:

"Thanks for sharing those and reporting this - this issue should be now fixed.
Please let us know if you still see an issue there."

I have.. If the app crashes it will just hover and reset home point where it is hovering when you restart DJI app.

I’m not sure... as only m’y Samsung was disconnected. So the home point didn’t change as Airdata has confirmed.

Mine did something similar with the disconnections. It also kept asking for the same remote controller firmware update over and over again even though it said that the update was successfully completed. A couple times, it also said that there was a mismatch in the firmware. that got me thinking that you cant use 1 app for all the drones. I have the spark, the 1st Mavic and now the Mavic pro 2. I wonder if there is an issue with that?  error keeps calling itself "Remote connection link error"
