I always found it odd, that people have the ocean right in their back yard, but then they build a pool. Haha

Lol, thanks! I'm sure that does seem a bit funny. New Smyrna Beach is the shark capitol of the USA so I'm sure it's a relaxing addition. That and crazy riptides, undercurrents, kids, etc... Certainly was a nice pool though. New construction so they are still building parts of the backyard out.

That recent fatal shark attack on the unfortunate surfer must have many coastal goers on edge.

Yes, a nice clean, safe pool, would be very relaxing.... ;-)
