Great news indeed for those who have experienced issues. The release notes also make it clear which issues were indeed firmware related and which were not. I can only hope that this will be understood. Other issues reported previously might have been related to DJI GO 4 or simply to the mobile devices used (with their particular setup, e.g. plenty of other apps running in the background or whatsoever). While it is easy to attribute any perceived problem to a new firmware, it is in a number of cases factually not correct.
And I really hope that this time all who update the firmware through DJI GO will do so with version 4.3.0 or above as stipulated in the release notes. The safest way will be to do it with DJI Assistant.
Don,t really want to argue the point, but i do not agree fully.
It does not mean that it was NOT firmware problems that some people had, just because the fix is not in the new firmware update release notes.
Some of the problems could very well be firmware related, but like a couple of other problems, not attended to at the moment.
That been said, I do hope that my (repaired....) drone, will be more stable with the update.
I for one, am really tired of spending around 20% of my battery, just to connect the drone to the remote, then another 20%, just to get the compas calibrated, then another 20%, just to get the signal to rc loss restarted, dji app restarted..........you get the gist.
Would love to just enjoy my drone for a change. |
