Update still not showing when starting Aircraft, but looks like it’s imminent, hope it helps those having problems. And enhances aircraft for all.

    Aircraft:
 Fixed the issue where the aircraft behaved abnormally when it misidentified a subject in ActiveTrack.
 Fixed the issue during RTH where the aircraft continued to fly backward when it sensed obstacles both in front and behind.
 Fixed the issue where the time displayed on photos was incorrect.
 Fixed the issue where the aircraft flight distance was still restricted despite the Distance Limit being
disabled in DJI GO 4.
 Fixed the issue where the abnormal current warning appeared too frequently in some situations.
 Fixed the issue where the aircraft could not land due to issues with the remote controller control sticks.
Remote Controller:
 Added the ability to adjust the camera parameters. Press and hold the customizable button and toggle the gimbal dial to adjust.
Notes:
 Make sure you update the DJI GO 4 app to the latest 4.3.0 version or higher before updating the firmware.
 Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the update is complete.
 Please note that the firmware update may reset various Main Controller Settings, such as the RTH Altitude and Maximum Flight Distance, to factory defaults. Before the update, take note of your preferred DJI GO 4 settings, and readjust them after the update to suit your preference.
 This firmware update resets the camera settings.
 GEO zone authorization will be disabled after this firmware update. Please reinstall it again.
 If the firmware upgrade fails, restart aircraft, remote controller and DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2, and retry.

I got it from downloads on the dji website, I would imagine it will be rolled out over the next few days,

This is an android DJI Go4 app update, not an aircraft firmware update.

Is it though? It does say "Aircraft Firmware : v01.00.0500"

That is clearer yes, the first post had the version number under the DJI Go4 Android part. My mistake. I hope this fixes more issues than they listed there.

Hopefully it will fix all FW issues, but we must remember that not all issues are FW related.

The date is today so,,, anytime now. Just checked and not available yet.

Interesting that the Air .500 release notes differ from the MVP .500 release notes -- does this mean the fixes only apply to the Air model? The upload dates differ for the two as well with the Air version being the most recently posted.

Have just plug my MA to assistant 2, does not show up yet. Definitely take a day off from work to check it out deeply. So waiting

Wow, it's really happening? Didn't expect that! But I am not sure whether I should update because I don't have big issues and this firmware could cause more issues than solving for me. :/

Yes only apply to Mavic Air, I think it’s just a coincidence that both seem to be on the same numbers.

Well nothing there about not being able to roll back, it does say you need to be on the latest app, so if you intend to be able to roll back, you may need to roll app back to remain with your status quo,

Anyone had that problem?  Could it have anything to do with the fact that I could not get more than 800 meters distance out of the drone?

Just checked and it's not yet available for me in the US (Florida), has anyone been able to download/install it? Not sure if all DJI servers will get at the same time.

It was basically to do with some not being able to fly outside beginner or not signed in restrictions, so it was limiting some to beginner distance, so I believe your limit was distance 100 metre height 20/50, it had nothing to do with craft not flying as far as advertised, you would get warning on your app that you were restricted to flying any further.

Well it says in the notes you need to have app updated, but if everything is working ok you have the option of staying where you are.

Actually looking at it again second page refers to .400 and that you cannot roll .400 back, so unless you have another page you can post, you should be able to roll back to .400

It does not mean that it was NOT firmware problems that some people had, just because the fix is not in the new firmware update release notes.
Some of the problems could very well be firmware related, but like a couple of other problems, not attended to at the moment.
That been said, I do hope that my (repaired....) drone, will be more stable with the update.

I for one, am really tired of spending around 20% of my battery, just to connect the drone to the remote, then another 20%, just to get the compas calibrated, then another 20%, just to get the signal to rc loss restarted, dji app restarted..........you get the gist.
Would love to just enjoy my drone for a change.

After all the uproar we have seen here in the forum after the release of the .400 firmware you seriously believe that DJI would have chosen not to address issues that had been reported if they were firmware related? After having made those concerned wait for such a long time? Deliberately going for the next uproar? Please, take some time to think about this. And sorry, if you spend 20% of your battery time connecting your drone to the RC before each flight and all the other things you have listed, you certainly have problems, just these are clearly not firmware related.

Good catch, but i am a but disappointed that we are not able to silence the RTH beeping on the remote yet.

And do you guys think we will ever see hyperlaps on the DJI GO 4 app for our loved mavic air?
Also I have never had any issues with any of these fixes they are applying to v.500.

Make hyperlapse in post process, it takes 3-5 minutes of your time
