This is the first try at a super high definition 360 panorama over Downtown Miami with the #Mavic2Zoom. To my knowledge this is the first time this is attempted with a drone of this kind. It was a big job to complete. My older Mac couldn't handle it, I had to use the help of my coworker's PC to render it. The size was 36352x18176 pixels, making this photo 661 megapixels and more than 320MB. It is so big and massive that even my Note 8 has trouble opening and displaying it in full resolution. To be able to post on Facebook it had to be resized down to 30000x15000 pixels. You should be able to zoom in and still see lots of details . This is far from perfect and you will notice some imperfections, but those will be fixed on the next panos. Enjoy!

This is why I decided to go with the Mavic 2 Zoom. I wanted to make ultra high resolution panoramas by stitching a bunch of images together.

A request I would have is to allow the user to create auto 360 panoramas at any desired focal length. Right now we can only create auto panos at 24mm, so all the way zoomed out. I would like to be able to make the auto panos all the way zoomed in at 48mm.

Zoomed in, the FOV is less, so more pictures would be needed in order to achieve the needed overlap to stitch them together.

Really nice.
Took your advise and zoomed in. I believe if you didn't have to resize I could of read the wording on the one bridge. As it was, it was a little out of focus.
I Did like the shot of the small boat.

That is correct. About 100 pictures to be exact. It was hard and time consuming doing it manually, thats why Im asking to see if that feature could be implemented.

Well actually many more pics will be required. I was able to only capture 100 since I started to do the pano late in the flight and ran out of battery before I was able to complete it.

I suppose this is cool but I'm confused as to the value of a 300+ megabyte photo that can't be viewed?

it showcases the ability of this drone to get it done. Also if you want to make a big print this will help you out.

I took all the shots manually. I didnt use an app to autonomously take the pictures for me.
