Thanks.Tried one tonight and the Mavic battery only charged intermittently. Is that because the 12 volt jump battery voltage dropped below the cutoff voltage?

You would need to meter the Jump Battery voltage under the load .......

You need to answer this question:

Are you using the Mavic 2 battery power supply,  or the Mavic Pro battery power supply....???

Thx

Do you have a volt meter?          BTW "intermittent" is NO Bueno

Set it to 20 VDC

Check the output voltage of the power supply connected to your Jump Battery....   = ?

Don't have a voltmeter but the no bueno doesn't sound good.I have an AC inverter.Maybe that will work better?

I use a 400 watt Inverter for my mobile charging, but use a 12 volt Deep Cylce Marine battery for the power supply.  About $100 for the battery.   Can plug in the stock power supply to charge 1 battery, and use the Car charger in the Acc outlet to charge a 2nd battery while driving.

Hi. Thank you for reaching DJI Forum. Sorry, but we do not recommend to use third-party accessories. We highly recommend using the car charger that was included in the fly more kit. The M2 battery is a LiPo 4S battery, so we can't use 12V.

So is it ok to use the Mavic 2 car charger plugged into the car's lighter socket and charge the Mavic battery with the car engine off?

It actually depends on what type of car you have and also if the car is on rest or not. You may charge the battery when the engine is turned off, just put it on the ignition state but it is not suggested as to the battery of your car will quickly be discharged.
