Yes, those are some deep blues and awesome vistas. A little advice, slow down on the pans and gimbal motion too... take your time, you'll get a smoother result. Remember, you can speed things up in post production without affecting the quality much, but slowing down fast movement is the opposite, it will degrade. Tripod mode and gimbal speed adjustments can be your cinematic friend, especially with that kind of location... just stunning scenery.
Well done. I subscribed.
Thank you. Ya, this one was shot a couple weeks ago and my other video was shot this last weekend. I def slowed down the movement and have been figuring out how to use tripod mode etc for even smoother panning. I keep watching lots of tutorials so maybe my 3rd video will look even better
I do a lot of mountain hiking so there will be plenty more whenever I find time to get out. I'm hoping all this practice will have me doing decent camera work and editing for my big adventures.
This video was edited with HitFilm Express which I didn't like but I only had 1 1/2 hours to find something to edit with. After reading a lot of comments, it appears Davinci is what most people use. I used it on my 2nd video and liked it much better so I'll probably stick with that since the learning curve is easy. |
