Hi,

i had flown the mavic 2 into a tree over the weekend, and it finally fell free today but one motor came away and the gimbal is messed up.
Thankfully i opted for the DJI Care Refresh when i activated the drone and i am hiping to send it back for repair.

I registered the repair request and i have received a UPS postage label for its collection.

My question is this:
At what point do i pay over €119.00 for the replacement drone.
I havent been asked along this process as yet and I am just hoping that i have started the correct procedure and not just sending it back for a standard repair. Needless to say, i havent found the communication around the returns terribly clear.

Can you please advise what i should expect.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Michael. I'm sorry to hear about the incident of your Mavic. Good thing you have the DJI Care Refresh. I managed to get your case number through your Forum account. What will happen here is once we receive the drone in the facility, they will assess what was damaged first and will give you the list of the parts needed to be repaired/replaced. But since you have DJI Care Refresh, we'll prioritize that and will provide the quote for 1st replacement of your Mavic 2 which is €119. From there, you can settle the quote via Paypal.

Hope it helps. And if you have further questions, feel free to let us know and we'll be glad to help
