Hi, Sorry to know about what happened to your previous drone. May I know what device are you using? What is the version of your DJI GO 4 app? Did you check if you manage to put the wi-fi settings into auto mode? Please keep us posted. Thank you for the support.

Hi, Thanks for your prompt reply. You can change the wi-fi settings into manual from auto so that you could be able to change the frequency. Kindly inform us if the issue would persist.

I just tried connecting directly to the spark no rc...it connected 2.4 wifi...when i re-bind the RC...i am back to 5.8ghz ....i do not know how to solve this....frustrating

yes....but i get a prompt to restart...when i do restart...it still connects at 5.8....i have tried several different channels under 13...
You can set the channel to 2.4GHz or 5.8 GHz in the app. Normally, the app will automatically choose a channel. You can switch the channel in the app manually. Note: To switch the frequency range (and select 2.4 GHz or 5.8GHz), you should select one channel first. Wi-Fi will restart and connect to the aircraft again.
Wi-Fi will also restart after the channel is switched."
It connects from mobile device to spark via 2.4ghz ......as soon as i connect the RC it switched back to 5,8ghz....i have tried manually setting the to 2,4ghz
i have restarted when prompted to...still no luck ....smh..

I suggest you drive a couple of miles south, when the App prompts to change the WiFi Settings accept it. After that, never accept the change again.
Hi for android users I recomend app "Floater".
It is a fake GPS app. Install it and put your position furter south from Canada border. Make shure that app is running when using DJIGO app.
Hope this helps !
I'm not 100% sure but Canada has CE rules, right? So your Sparky thinks it needs to reduce transmission power to meet CE standards. I'd suggest to use the MOD 2.0 app instead of the newest Go4 app. That way you can always have FCC mode and don't have to worry about that any more.

Or do like I did,
Use a fake gps app on Android to change to FCC mode
