I'm flying Spark and try to keep everything up to date all the time... but now regret

started my adventure in March 2018 - everything was perfect (Spark / RC / app) last 2-3 months signal was suspiciously bad even on 50m distance... yesterday, first time after another update, no image at all - very frustrating anyone, please help

...already formated SDs (by DJI and PC); reinstalled app on my android; recalibrated IMU (just in case)...
...refreshed/downgraded firmware...

...camera definitely works fine...

Hi, Sorry for the troubles that it caused. I would like to confirm that you were able to use the DJI Assistant 2 correct? If yes, may I know where did you purchase the unit? Is this the first time that you encounter this issue? May I know what happened to your aircraft prior to this issue? Please keep us posted for us to assist you further. Thank you for the support.

I have the same problem works fine with my phone , connected anew Huawei MediaPad T3 7 ,connects ok telemetry works lift the drone and the hight changes on the screen but no video.
Please help.

Further to the above I also have a Phantom 3 standard I tried the tablet and it worked perfect  with wi-fi, so there is something with the sparks software or hardware, any help is appreciated.

DJI Assistant 2 works fine.
"DJI Spark Drone Fly More Combo - Lava Red (UK)" was purchased through Amazon (Sold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L. February 15, 2018). It is the first time I encounter this issue.
Nothing happened. The aircraft was on the shelf / not used for couple of weeks.
It is possible I was updating the system, if I was prompted by Android in the (idle) meantime.

DJI Tony, I am having the similar problem. I am able to take off and every thing is working fine. About 1-2 minutes into my flight the screen goes black and states disconnected. Normally it will reconnect but on Oct 3, 2018 it did not reconnect and the spark started to RTH. Which is fine but it was trying to land in a tree about 7 feet away from the set GPS home location. I was able to get RC control but unable to shut off RTH. I was able to stop the spark from hitting the tree by blocking it with my hand. Unfortunately this did damage the led mounts on the left and right front. I opened a case on the same day CAS-2310169-M0M5D3. I was sent a shipping label to send the spark back for repair. All I need is the led mounts. The spark does not need to be sent back. I also uploaded the fight date as requested when I opened the case. This was not a problem until it did the latest Go 4 update to 4.3.3. Both the AC and RC are also up to date.
Any help would be appreciated

Guys you need to downgrade your app and the issue will be solved and you will have live view again.
Best stable version for spark is 4.1.15
First uninstall DJI go4
Download from apkmirror version 4.1.15
Enable installation from unknown sources on your device
Also disable auto updates of the apps in play market
And make sure to never update the app again on those devices, (they can’t run the latest app, not powerful enough)

Thanks for the reply. I’m using an iPhone X to run the app. Wasn’t a problem until the last update to the app. Going to down grade when I get home from vacation. I also place the phone in airplane mode when flying.

I have downloaded DJI GO 4.1.5 AND 4.1.9 BOTH SOLVED MY PROBLEM , LEFT IT ON 4.1.9 , HAVE NOT FLOWN YET.

I have the same thing happening.... have iPhone 6s, All Go4, Spark firmware up to date. It happens before takeoff & I have to turn everything off & then back on again to rectify. Never had issue before until updating to last version of Go4. I see it has been mentioned to go back to earlier version of Go4 but with IOS it doesn’t seem an easy process.

...for some reason DJI Tony stays quiet...? not much help with word "sorry"
hope DJI is at least aware of the issue?

Hi fatboy mac, the same issue happening with me..using iPhone 6+ and upgrade app to ver 4.3.0..the result: RC always disconnected!!

not much time recently, but, just for test, gone straight up to 120m over my house and back
very good video transmission with 4.1.10

Have you tried doing a factory reset on the device and fresh installing only DJI go 4.1.15 on it to see if that helps???

Same thing happened yo me then drone crashed and nothing was recorded warnings that came up on the screen before crashing but they think I'm lien.maybe they can see this is really happening.wow

I have had similar problems since updating to the new iPhone iOS and app updates! Absolutely, no problem with transmission or signal loss before the updates.

If DJI Go 4 works on earlier versions how can they blame the Phone or Tab they should supply a version that will work with any Iphone or any Android. we pay for this

Reverse the app update and stop it from updating again!

Just keep the older and working version of the Go4 app.

Hello Guys.
I Got a mavic air with iphone, all works fine. Because of screen too little I bought a Huawei Media Pad T3-7 which is on the list of recommended tabs. All works but no image/video...If I switch with the Huawei P20 pro of a friend it works also..So someone can help me? Anyone using the Mediap Pad T3? I'm desperate..:-( Thank you for your help. Laurent

By the way, my v version on Huawei Media Pad is 4.3.16 and 4.3.17 on iphone, should I update?

Hello, It works with my old Iphone, but I bought a new pad, Huawei Media Pad, and not working...

As I wrote it works with my Iphone but not with Mediapad...I can command gimbal etc, but there is no image/video..the screen is black...

Long shot: try resetting the camera to stock settings.

If it doesn't work, you've lost nothing but a few moments of time.  If it does, at most you'll lose is camera settings.
