It was so much windy and cold but Mavic Pro 1 was amazing !! No Magnetic Interference either !!!

Awesome!  I too enjoyed my Mavic in Iceland and I think it is one of the best places to drone.

BTW...I can see you were spooked into not flying at the first set of waterfalls (SKÓGAFOSS)...due to the "No Drone Zone" printed signs near the entrance which I assume are still there .  Those signs were printed off the internet and don't represent any regulation at that site .

Is that true? Going there next month and that would be a game changer for me I wasn't going to fly at the main tourists spots, but now might start from a bit away and fly high.

Wouldn't worry about it - almost every single inch of Iceland is great for drones.  There is a couple locations that are 'State Parks' that have definite 'No Drone' postings; but 99.99% is perfect.  At the mentioned falls you could fly there- but in any case there are lots of people so it is always best to keep a good distance from being directly overhead (and respecting the fact that many people are taking pictures so it isn't cool to dominate the sky).  At these falls you can easily fly from the left-hand side and get amazing video or pics- even with a spectacular rainbow on sunny days at it faces perfectly positioned.  Enjoy!

yes. almost all the national parks, big falls are no drone zone. once i saw the sign, i took it down and didnt risk it on other falls ..

Nice video, Iceland seems to be the dream land for drone pilots. I hope to go there next year.
