I'm still very impressed by the quality of Mavic 2 Zoom videos I see on Youtube.
Unfortunately, my videos are jerky even in tripod mode. I use a 32 go Sandisk Extreme Pro U3 V30

Is there a problem on my Mavic 2 Zoom ?

Example here (4k, 60fps):

Are you uploading to YouTube straight off the SD card?

No I don't, I use Premiere Pro (same source and ouput).
I did a camera reset and have posted here the result  (4k,30fps, Mode P, no wind):

Youtube sometimes mangles video..  Especially if you don't follow their recommendations   https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en

Can you post a short unedited  video directly from your SD card to one of the online storage sites, (like DropBox). ?   That would make it easier to tell whether or not there's a problem with your recorded video.

I downloaded the file rather than view it on the Dropbox viewing screen.   (That Dropbox streaming screen can also have issues).

This is odd..     I have two computers.  Both have speedy  i7 processors.   One runs Linux and the other Windows 10.     The video has a slight stutter on my Linux computer using the VLC video viewer.  It also has a slight stutter when using VLC on my Windows computer.    But -- when viewed on the Windows computer, using the native Windows app (they call it Films & TV), it's as smooth as glass.

I put the file on a USB 2 thumb drive and plugged it into my 4K Samsung TV.  It played smoothly there as well.

So..  The video seems fine.   Either the video player you're using, or your video graphics card, or the speed of your computer is causing the jerky frames.   Perhaps someone else can provide more insight on this...

Edit..   Using Linux all three of the videos you posted have some jitter to the frames.   I fired up a browser on my Windows computer.  The first two videos show frame jitter, but third one (in post #4) is pretty smooth.

Many thanks for your messsage and test.
I've sent 2 other videos to the DJI Support showing that even when registering the video on the internal memory of the Mavic the problem persists.
The DJI support just answered, some minutes ago: "Unfortunately, we have not encountered this type of problem so far and need to get back to the development team to find out about the possible solutions."

Try an experiment...take a copy of your original video and render it at 1080...then try 2.7 if your software allows. See what you get with that....another thought is use 4k on Vimeo...seems to handle 4k better than YouTube.

I've tried to render the 4k original video at 1080 with Premiere). No change:

For this video: Auto, 3840x2160, 25fps, PAL, D-Cinelike, ND16.
I've tried different speed, fps, shuter, ISO... and the result is the same (however less visible in 4K 60fps).

If possible, can you try...

4K, 30fps, 1/60, ISO 100 - panning left to right and up and down, slowly if possible?

also, are you sure about 4k/60fps - I didn't know that was an option on the Mavic 2 range?

I'm sorry.. It was 2.7k 60fps. You're right there is no 4k 60fps on the Mavic 2! DJI wants to continue selling the Phantom 4 pro!

No probs

And if you're able to make another video, post it here. Assuming there's a fault with the drone, the up/down motion would test the gimble, and left/right the drone itself.

(about the camera settings, just make sure everything is on manual including white balance)

Are you using the video cached on your display device or the video captured directly on the SD card in the Mavic? The video cached on my display device often looks jerky, but the video actually captured on the drone is fine.

There was a Vlc version a while ago that didn't play my mp 4k 30fps smoothly but the win 10 app worked fine, as you said. Another reason that can be unrelated to the players but concerns the encoding is if the computer is busy. If on Windows you press control, alt, delete simultaneously to load the app that shows processor, network, graphics and memory load, you may discover something running that shouldn't.

I don't think that the reason is because of the computer. The following image shows activity of processor, GPU and memory during the encoding:

Had the same problem with my new Mavic 2 Pro. Ended up returning the Mavic costing me $50 in return shipping and insurance. Spending time getting my DJI Cares refund and loss of registration fee along with now a higher retail price. Looks like yours will be heading back also.

Interested to learn that I'm not the only one to experience this problem! I still hope that DJI will find a solution as I was said that they will ask the development team...

Same problem for me only much, much worse. Doesn't matter what picture size, frame rate, AFC, AF, MF, internal / SD storage and all of the rest of the alphabit soup. The stuttering is unacceptable and video is garbage. Looks like M2P is going into the shop too as soon as I get in touch with support tomorrow.

BTW: Also did a full recalibration including calibrating the sensors (which is a PITA), no joy.

Forgot to mention that I was working with support last week and sent them a video. They verified that the video was indeed shakey. Told me to recalibrate which I did with no change in the problem. I really believe I have a defective M2P.

Upload the file from the drone to google and give me the shareable link.  I will see if my rendering makes it not jerky.

You don't need 4k.  Just Opticalflow in Resolve.

Thanks for the help. Posted the link in a previous message but didn't do it as a link. Tried to correct it but the fracking two minute time had expired and it would not let me edit. New to this forum. So here is my second attempt to add a link:

yeah, It's jerky lol even with Opticalflow and I tried stabilization to max after but it does nothing.  Are your props chipped?  Imbalanced props can cause things like this to happen.

I am using low noise props from DJI. I have examined my props carefully and see no problems with them. I suppose I can try the original props... What a PITA. Thanks for looking at that. Gotta learn how to add a proper link.

Yeah, that's what I expected. New porpos made no differnce. Gonna do some handflying, leave on the internal memory then send it  in. Thank you SOOOO much. I suggest that the op might want to do the same. Wasting way to many hours on this.

BTW: I downgraded the FW version to 2 versions back. Same problem.
