My drone crashed today.
While on active track.
GPS was good and sensors on.
What happened?
It just slowly descended and then crashed itself while following us.

There are many reports about active track has problem. You need to put your finger on the controller all time to take back control when needed.

Harvey>> What firmware were you running?

I've seen complaints about this in 0400 so I'm wondering if it's still an issue in 0500?

Thanks.

Hey, guys. Running in the latest Firmware 0500.
I’m sorry, but how do I get these logs? Is this through DJI Assistant?

Did you switch off your sensors and flew backwards through that hole you were talking about? The one that people told you not to do, crash etc etc?

Hey, guys. Running in the latest Firmware 0500.

If you want assistance from the community here, the best way is to upload your logs to the following site (instructions on that page) and then paste the resulting URL back into this thread here.

http://phantomhelp.com/logviewer/Upload/

I'd also suggest you follow DJI Paladin's recommendations and open a ticket with DJI support for their official assistance.

Also, can you clarify which drone you were using?  I see the Spark listed in your profile, but assume that isn't the drone you were flying in this case...

Hello, KlooGee.

I'm was using my Mavic Air that day.
It's a 2nd hand drone barely used.
That's why my Mavic Air logo isn't seen below my Profile.
It was initially activated by the previous owner.

I've yet to open a Support Ticket with DJI, busy at the office lately.
I'll be sure to upload my logs tonight though.

Harvey.

I´m not able to open a new post so I write it here.

I was flying my Mavic Air in a canyon. All went well till it lost the conection with the controller.
I was watching it but, it was a very stony canyon, I had to look at the floor to jump and then I lost sight of it because of the confusion of the montain
Although I heard it all the time and it was not far away, I was not able to find it.
I stopped to heard it (battery went off) and I couldn´t find it.

I´d like to know if there is any way to know the last gps position so I´ll go tomorrow to look for it

Thanks in advance

* Go to page that will play back your flights in your app
* Tap the top entry in that list and a map will open.
* Press the play button at the bottom and wait until the flight starts (you can grap the slider to speed this up).
* At the end of the flight, look at the numbers above the slider. These are the coordinates at the last position of you aircraft while is was connected to the controller.

* Write the coordinates down.
* Go to the Google maps app and search for thos coordinates.
* Google maps will show you a marker on a map for the search result and another marker for you current position.
* The rest should be self-explanatory :-)

Thanks a lot. I found it.
But according to this post: https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... D534%26typeid%3D534

Now I don´t know if the RC lost signal cause of the canyon or the update...
If it goes on, I´ll do what the other guys says to return the connection (restart the RC, really dangerous)
