Thanks DJI for great nothing !!The new frimware has not solved the problem that has been in the past for months. The P4P V2.0 camera is still drifting. The rear sensors are unusable. If the sunlight illuminates, it stops the drone up to 300 meters above the ground. Overwhelming. Sad disappointment and I regret thisI can not believe I could not fix these bugs that DJI has been doing for months now !!!I'm really angry. This is useless.

Maybe you have other issues, my P4PV2.0 does not drift. Steady as a rock.

TheLazyC out of curiosity what is the manufacture date on the box of your V2. I have the yaw problem and the manufacture date on mine is May2018. That tells me its the pretty much first batch that came out of the production line.

Before you get angry, the problem of the obstacle sensors reacting to the sun has been around since the first optical based obstacle sensors came out on the P4. Don't fly into a setting sun or switch off obstacle sensing. It is not a fault, it is an operational lmitation. You have to learn to work with it.

As for the drifting, how much is it drifting and at what altitude?

I fly into the sun and sunset and do not experience the problems you mention.  I suggest opening a support ticket to determine if it is a hardware issue if after the .2000 firmware update did not resolve it.

Good for you, but the obstacle sensing has been affected by the sun at a low angle since the feature was first introduced. It is not likely to be a hardware issue nor software.

Well I was curious to the OP post "Before the V2, the smooth P4P was never a problem for the sun" so infact it has not been an issue for the OP since the feature was introduced as you stated.

Yeah, everyone says 'I never had a problem until the latest software update'.  Some are blaming global warming on a software update.

I though global warming was caused by a software bug, not an update?

This is the problem with the rear sensors. If the daylight is on, the drone will stop at every beep.

Possibly the sun directly onto the sensors? Did the warning go away when you altered your direction?

Yes, the sun is the problem. If I turn away and not reach the rear sensors, it will not beep.

Then go into settings and switch off obstacle sensing. At that altitude you are not likely to hit anything.

It's funny. It's not normal operation. The first sensors do not signal, they work okay.Only the backs. You do not have to switch on constantly. The height changes constantly. The sensors are needed. If I want to turn it off then all you have to do is go for it.Geebax do you think this is so okay ?????

@digsy, just an FYI. I flew my P4PV2.0 TONIGHT for the first time. I got a warning that the ambient light was too low so the downward sensors were disabled and for the first time every, i got DRIFTING when hovering.

So, on yours, be sure yours is not disabled in the settings and if not, could be that sensor is bad.
