Is CrytalSky (CS) an officially released product for the M2P ?
I made the mistake of listening to people on FB without doing more research and found out that there is not even a mount available from DJI for the CS product to mate with Controller.
Charging cable does not even come with CS to charge its own battery. At the very least, the Store website needs to tell customers to include a purchase for the cable.

Yes, it is officially supported by DJI.

Here are a few CrystalSky mounts that are compatible with the Mavic 2:

Since, DJI does not sell MP2-RC mounts for CS, it is a push to say it is officially supported for MP2.
The    just isn't there.

Given how slow they are to update CS with software all the time it looks more like Crystal Sky doesnt figure highly on DJIs support list at all.  Which is a shame - it should be a flagship, always up to date marketed control method.

Thank you for reaching DJI Forum. CrystalSky is compatible for the Mavic 2 Series, however as of now there's no official mounting bracket for Mavic 2 Series yet. We will release on our website as soon as if there is an update. We appreciate your patience, thank you.

Be sure to update your CS firmware and it should work fine,  I use the Mavmount 3.o and it works great with my 7.85 UB CS.  You can get the mount on amazon.  I tried the polar pro mount first but did not like the tightening screw.

Rather than go with a bulky mount, I cut a .25 inch of ABS and with some velcro the CS 5.5 sits just like a cell phone but a bit higher, and adds next to no weight.

Thanks for the suggestions. What’s ABS?

Do you have a photo of the mount you can share?

Thanks for the suggestions. What’s ABS?

Type of plastic that is easy to work with, compared to say Lexan.

Did you cut a rectangle in piece so CrystalSky battery went through plastic, leaving back of CrystalSky against top of plastic?

Did some googling about ABS ...

so essentially just slide the sheet plastic in place like the phone into the Controller’s holder arms.

And use Velcro to secure the CS to the sheet plastic.

Am I describing this correctly?

Theory : Why support it fully (with mounts) when they are coming out with (rumors) a controller for the Mavic with a built in screen.

This is my prototype, I was expecting to mount the CS upside down so the cutout for the battery does not look proper.  I got ahead of myself and cut it out before receiving the right angle usb cable which took up more space at between the CS and Controller than I wanted, thought it would have worked fine. (just be being me)  When I have time will cut out another making it easy to remove the battery without pulling off the CS.

Did you know that you can pair your Mavic 1 remote with the Mavic 2, easy fix not 100% but it works.

Here are a few CrystalSky mounts that are compatible with the Mavic 2:

For the PolarPro mount, I have a few questions:
[1] Does it come with the screws and everything I need or do I need to buy some other parts?
[2] So, looks like the CS will be blocking the Remote Controller screen. Do you not need to look at the Controller screen anymore?

With PP it will block the screen on your remote, but all necessary information is on your device screen.

No. That is a DJI mount on top of the Flyhighusa plate.
