I am gonna try videoing in 1080 instead of 4K I think that will make a difference in my ability to playback the videos...

Actually DJI Tony was right. I've never seen or installed a Windows computer, without it having software for playing back video. Now, looking at your post 9# it seems it wasn't the player causing your problem, but the hardware on which it's installed. Try not to be so harsh next time someone tries to assist you.

Ok I changed the video setting to 1080p and now the windows media player plays back the videos as it should, so the 4k setting seems to have been the problem.

Windows Media Player is able to play 4K video footage. It sounds like your computer is too old/slow to play those videos.

Well you may be correct but, it's what I have and 1080P is good enough for me to watch TV so videos are gonna have to be the same for now.

FYI I have found that even when a video does not look right on the computer screen it play 100% correct on my TV.  I mostly take video in 2.7K

I normally shoot in 1080p because that matches my other ground based cameras. In any case the vast majority only watch in 1080 or 720 HD depending on their internet connection besides YT compresses video anyway. Other platforms are better but it still comes back to the viewers internet connection.   Most TV is SD or 720HD   not a lot of broadcast is 1080P but that is expanding. IT is going to be a long time before they get to 4K let alone it becoming the norm.   

The other thing is screen calibration.... Calibrating for video where things are watched on a TV is not the same as calibrating for still photography.....   In N. America you will calibrate for NTSC the rest of the world for PAL/SEECAM
