This new video will be the third in the series on the changing trees, an unexpected effect was provided by nature, the wind was very strong, or I would have gone higher, the clouds were moving by above me rather fast, so it created this cool animation with the sun that was managing to fight its way through the endless clouds we've been having. Mrs. Northwood makes a cameo appearance in this (0:25), right near the beginning, that's her driving down the road heading out to do some shopping.
I did this with Tripod mode, had not bothered with it for a while, and after this experience, I dont think I will again until DJI fixes it so we can slow those sticks down to nearly nothing. So, its a bit pan-jerky, but what can you do. I know better than to yaw whislt stationary, thought I could pull of the slow stick this time, not so!
Anyway, hope you enjoy, the music is not mine this time, it fits kind of well with the cloud action. And this post makes me a First Officer - woohoo!
Thanks.... In a way I wish I had not tracked it at quite the same speed... and in hindsight, I should have done more with the sun behind me, it was quite effective.

Thanks... was refreshing to have a few moments of sun... that was it for that day... it rained most of the rest of the day.
Always grab the opportunity when you can now - winter is coming!
Aint that the truth! Another dull weekend here, and no time due to family committments, hoping the weather gods are wrong about tomorrow, need to get up... this hobby is like an addiction!

I liked that video. Looked like some giant searchlight scanning the countryside looking for something. Nice that the clouds were small enought to give that effect. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Sidd. Actually its the other way around.. the clouds were so large they were only allowing small patches of sun to slip between them. Still better than no sun at all. It was a cool effect for sure.

Really like how the sun moving across trees really made the colors pop on the trees. I am still waiting for the leaves to start to change here. But I am hoping for a sunny weekend myself.

Yep, I got lucky with ol' ma nature! Where in the States are you?

I am in Delaware. According to predictions we should be in full peak. We are just starting to see a change. Still mostly green.
Well, would love to see those hardwoods changing...
