The Matrice can carry approx 5kg of payload, according to the spec sheet. There seems to be several posts on the forum suggesting that the matrice can survive the loss of a single prop.
Is there any information on how much of a payload it can carry in an assymetric loading condition (e.g. the weight not centered in the middle)?
I am intending to cary a very bulky (but light) payload that cannot fit under the landing gear. Wondering if anyone has any pointers on this subject.
Hello there, from our perspective, we do not recommend to attach any assymetric device, the flight performance may get affected and the accident could happen, for the safety concern, it is not recommended to attach such a thing.
Our experience shows that it is not safe to have unbalanced payloads, the craft when always bias to one side when flying which is extremely dangerous, especially under high wind
