So this happened on a mavic 2. I lost full stick control but had connection via remote and live feed.  Once i stopped recording i got control back but now im concerned.  This is not the new firmware they just released

Yeah but did you lose control?  I had no stick input until i stopped recording video

No, still had control but it happened before I took off. Must of been a bit nerve racking for you. Try the IOS update and hope that fixes it.

Why would a mobile device issue cause stick input control loss?

iPad?  Which Apple product / model?

Ipad mini 4.  Over 125 flights, no update and this happened.  I wouldnt care about a warning but tue loss of control was problematic as I was over water.

For the stick control issue, you'll need to re-calibrate your remote controller. For the error message that is showing to your DJI Go 4 App, please close all the background apps to your phone and make sure to use the DJI Go 4 App only. I also suggest enabling airplane mode to your phone to avoid this issue again.

So not having any stick inpuy would be caused by needing a stick calibration?  Why didnt i get the endless beeping or that error?  My device was in airplane mode and the only app on it is djigo4

I just want to clarify, may I know what happened before the stick controller lost? The remote controller calibration will be the solution to that issue. Also, may I know what's the specific model of your iPhone? Thank you.

That device cpu overload error came up.  There were moving peiple in the shot and there was no glitch there.  Stick inputs were intermittant or not working.  I stopped recording and regained control.  This was flight 125 and the first issue with this aircraft.

Dude, this drone needs more power. I now use a dedicated IPHONE10 MAX and no more issues.
