We have incredible fall colors here in New Mexico, but tends towards golden (not complaining

I am from the Utica Rome area and never really experience the Adirondacks until about 2 years ago.  The farthest I ever got was Old Forge and I was never impressed and that was the was the main part of the park....

It is a magical, inspiring place for sure, especially if you're willing to explore a little
