Just got these for the (upcoming) winter season here in Ontario, Canada...  First impressions they look pretty good.  Not bulky so easy to control the controller, and work well with my iPhone...

True true!  I didn't see many when searching, so figured a refresh is good...

Are there temperatures below which you should not be flying your Mavic? Or does warming the batteries actually help?

Very nice gloves.
Living in Arizona in the winter calls for these types of gloves.

Ha ha..  rub it in why don't you!  The gloves I posted will get me through the fall months...  but when it starts to hit -30 (celcius or fahrenheit it's all around the same then)  I'll need something more substantial...

I've been using them often so far.  Yes, they feel quite well made.

I've heard warming the batteries does help.  Last winter I was flying in around -10ºc and didn't see any change to flight times...  I have a friend who flies commercially way further north.  They keep the batteries stored in warm containers.

I found a pair of these Nike at the local store for €14

They look quite a bargain. Touchscreen works great. Just need to see if they will last long.

I agree. However if your fingers are already a bit "thick" it may pose a problem eg. marking a point on the screen

They should be paying the user for wearing those gloves with that crazy huge logo on each hand. LOL

Got a pair of these off of Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/produc ... 0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They work exceptionally well on the touch screen of my SC (I have medium sized hands/fingers). Depending on your tolerance for cold not all that great for temps below 30º F. They are better than bare skin for sure.  They kept my hands warm the other day for 30-35 minutes in 38-40º F temps w/5-10 mph steady breeze, long enough for me to go through one battery on my M2P. Today, I was flying and the temps were 30-32º F wind speed 10-15 mph and I was starting to feel the cold after about 15 minutes. If i was using these in temps below 30º F my hands would be pretty cold pretty fast. So in my opinion not that great for cold weather.
