Finally, I got all the necessary components together and it flew with grace.

I have nearly the same setup but added the DJI CS mount for quick disconnect.

2 Questions:

• What's the CS screen cover you have? Is this an optional accessory for the CS?
• What other components (screws, etc) is needed to attach the DJI Quick Release mount to the PolarPro mount?

The cover is a sun shade from DJI.  Works great, took a while to get (B&H)... have it for the 5.5" as well, just not on.  They pop out and block the sun from the top and the sides, lock in place and fold down quickly.

Screws were all in the two boxes for the Polar Pro and the DJI mount... no other parts needed.  Even had a weird delta handle flat blade screwdriver in the kits.

I'll snap some photos of the covers and share them.

That big one has been calling my name for a while now...!  Please tell me it isn't any good so I don't have to go spend my money on it!  
Do you have the "high brightness" or the "ultra brightness" version of the 7.85" CS?  And of course, how do you like it?

The only bad thing I can say about the 7.85 is it makes the controller top heavy and you can forget about seeing the display on the the remote.

I have the 2000 nit version (Ultra), I think you could get away with the High brightness and the sun shade in 99% of outdoor conditions, but if you live in a sunny area or fly while not standing in shade the Ultra is nice because it just manages the sunlight better.

It does exaggerate bad EV settings more so it helps me remember to set those correctly.

Yeah, I like it.  I don't regret it.  I think the 5.5" display is better for the smaller controllers (easier to pack, easier to handle), but my eyesight isn't what it use to be so I like the bigger screen with all the details.

Thanks for the feedback.  The placement of the weight is something I had thought about as well.  Glad you mentioned it.  

I do like the size of the smaller one, but there have been many times when using my iPhone vs using my iPad where I've missed something that I just didn't see when flying due to the small screen size.  For example, one day I was flying over a river where the water was flowing over a weir.  At the base of the weir, there was a large bird standing there doing a bit of fishing.  Unfortunately I didn't see him until I was back home checking out the footage on the computer.  Had I seen him there, I think I could have gotten some cool shots.  

The price on these things are crazy!  For the Ultra, its currently $999, plus a bracket to be able to mount it.    But as much as I fly now, I think I'm likely going to have to go for it.

On a couple of separate questions:

• when I took hyper lapse shots, the shutter sound  generated from the CS is so distracting. I cannot find a way to lower the volume under Sound control menu. Any ideas?
• Also, it looks like the video created by DJI for Hyperlapse mode is in 1080P only. Is this configurable to 4K? I know I configured my vids for 4K but the Hyperlapse vid created was in 1080p. Or am I doing something wrong?
