Hello,

I have issues with my mavic pro and i desperatelly need some help. Let me describe the situation i experienced and the issue i am getting.

So, after ugrade of the firmware to 1.04.0100 I took off and the camera behaved very strange - it took around 20 seconds for a drone to allow me starting of video recording, right before that then camera's gimbal made strange moves (camera tilt right & gimbal up/down) and then it got back to normal, allowed to record.

i tried to refresh the firmware upgrade and it gave me an error, making the situation even worse! now my camera is NOT showing the picture, my gimbal is not moving, mavic is flying normally and i have no error on my phone screen for gimbal/camera. I can also press "take picture" and mavic gives me a shutter sound with led's blinking as usually. No picture is saved though!

Any further firmware upgrades or refresh always give an error message. I tried with Windows and MAC, usb cable connected both via RC and directly to AC; Thru phone as well. I have also tried with different MicroSD cards. Always the same story - it fails, with error code: 0x020403.

upgrade via usb (DJI Assistant) on macbook + rc + mavic - refresh firmware - failed at 100%, error code: undefined 0x020403

That doesn't look too good, have you tried a factory reset in DJI assistant 2 ? Also it might get your the same error but have you tried a firmware rollback or an update to a different version ? Also Check your cable and the ports you are using, it sounds stupid but i bricked several batteries with firmware updates, i changed the cable i was using and updates worked normally after that.

Hi Bartas, we're sorry to read the troubles. Just to verify, has the drone been involved in the crash or hard landing before?
If not, you may check whether the gimbal up and down can be controlled by the RC. Also, according to the upgrade log you offered, it seems that the gimbal module is offline. If the issue persists after several updates, I'm afraid that it cannot be figured out remotely, please kindly start a case and send it in for diagnosis: https://www.dji.com/support Sorry about this.

Hi,

Not entirely sure - it was either v01.03.1000 or v01.03.0900. But I update regularly so i think v01.03.1000.

Hi,

I am out of warranty already and my dji care also expired 3 weeks before that happened.

Do you know what else is offline? Gimbal is for sure and also there are two other modules, what are they?

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification. At present, only the gimbal issue can be recognized, for more details, it can be confirmed after the designated team does the damage assessment. sorry about this. Also, it is not recommended to repair at your end, I sincerely suggest to send it in for diagnosis. If the unit has been out of warranty, I'm afraid that it might be paid service, you may refer to the price list here: https://repair.dji.com/repair/price-inquiry
