Hi all
Today I had my first flight with my new Mavic Pro, and I have to say I’m impressed!
The connection is waaay better than on the sparks WiFi!
Also the main point of disliking the spark for me was the camera tilting when going in sports mode,
Happy to report that on the Mavic Pro this issue doesn’t occur! ;)
Also the Mavic Pro is much more stable and it doesn’t get turned around by the wind like the spark does!
The only feature that I did not spot on the Mavic Pro regarding the spark is the shallow focus picture, but that’s nothing and can be easily done in post processing if needed.
Here is a pic that I took today with the Mavic Pro. (Ok I don’t know why but the iPad doesn’t let me to add a picture, so I’ll finish here, pass the pic to my phone and I’ll upload it from the phone, just a sec guys

The first failed picture was a panorama, a sphere panorama also failed and gave a really weird image

Thanks, but can you please comment why the panorama picture number 1 has failed???
So far all the panorama pics that I take with my Mavic Pro, turn out as failed pictures!!!
Any help or suggestions are appreciated

The sd card is perfect. Class 10 Kingston original, I was using this card previously on the spark with no issues at all.
Has to be something else here...

Couple of exceptional photos there, not sure while sphere failed. One thing to be aware of when flying Mavic Air , part of the reason Mavic camera doesn’t drop down in sport mode is to do with the pitch of the aircraft. If you are flying remember the Mavic Pro does not have a strong pitch into the wind so best not to leave yourself coming home into the wind as performance of Mavic Pro in P mode into the wind will be pretty slow, so if using RTH keep an eye on speed if it’s struggling, just switch to sports mode.
Mavic Pro is a great Aircraft and the right step up from Spark, so enjoy safe flying and good luck.

Some pictures i took today in HDR mode with mavic pro.
I really like those HDR pictures over the normal ones better images.
Also happy to say that the panorama pictures are working now.
Only the sphere one come out a bit white washed out, the sky is not blue but white.
The sphere came out better on the spark. I guess because the panorama pictures were first designed to use with the spark, those come out better on the spark than mavic pro. But its all good. I think i prefer the mavic pro to the spark.
The connection is rock solid, no camera tilting! And it feels and behaves sturdier, its much more stable in the wind. The camera is 4k and you do notice the difference compared to sparks 1080p, even on a non 4k monitor (ipad air2)
+ you have much more modes of flying, the intelligent modes.
Overall its a better drone the Mavic Pro.
Still have to try the mavic air, but knowing that it has camera tilting and wifi connection,its a nono for me, thats why i choose the mavic pro))
