One of the neighbors didn't like the drone flying around and fired about 5 shots... Not sure if they were directed at the drone or just warning shots but either way I heard them and brought the drone back in immediately. In Oregon there is a law that says something about flying under 400 feet knowingly or intentionally harassing an owner (which I wasn't)... Funny though because how am I supposed to fly over 400 feet? Lol... I also learned that I cannot take off at the base of a mountain and fly up it... The altitude didn't change as I was flying up the mountain and quickly reached max alt... So I had to turn around and come back... Kinda lame.

I haven't heard of that law.  I live in Oregon and been flying drones for more than three years

I am not that aware of the laws there but I did run a quick google search while I was there and found this...

State Drone Laws in Oregon
HB 3047 // 2017
This law:

• Modifies the law prohibiting UAS weaponization, making it a class C felony to fire a bullet or projectile from a weaponized UAS.
• Allows law enforcement to use UAS to reconstruct an accident scene.
• Prohibits the use of UAS over private property in a manner that intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly harasses or annoys the owner or occupant of the property.
• Allows that, under certain conditions, a landowner can bring an action against someone flying a drone lower than 400 feet over their property.
