It would be a great idea in my opinion if dji will consider on future upgrades to allow the feature of an automatic switch between external to internal or viceversaOr a switch to decide.

At the end of space on sd card you  loose shots... expecially shooting in 4K even if you got a 64 giga...
In this way an extra space will be available

I agree, but for me the question should be why is there not yet much more internal memory available. Look where our phones are going now, already 256-512 Gb becomes the standard. Rather have DJI look at that.

Yes, I think that 8 gb is a joke these days!

I agree with this feature request, but I feel other “bugs/limitations” should be addressed first.  This is the first model that has on-board memory.

I would give up the precious space the memory is taking on the PCB for components to support using the full 1” sensor for video.
