How do you prevent this? I need to use 5.8ghz... so I set my channel in custom. Everything looks great, I fly around a bit. But then it auto switches to 2.4ghz at some point during flight?

during return to home, a brief reconnection... still 2.4G showing - but why? WHAT DID I DO?



and so I check wifi settings (which are grayed out and won't let me change)
WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW... IT SHOWS THE CUSTOM 5.8GHZ CHANNEL I HAD ALREADY SET as "Current Channel"




help?

Look at the Battery Indicator......N/A. The App still not fully recover from disconnection. You are on Custom 5.8. When it reconnected fully it will show 5.8

i looked over all the times i ever had this issue and it was just as you said - it never left 5.8ghz after all.. the 2.4G graphic was just a placeholder!
