Will Asteroid and Boomerng be made available for MP as well?

Nothing confirmed but never say never as they say!

It would be a really cool and a superb addition, the boomerang and asteroid mode!!!
Also why there’s no circle on my Mavic Pro? Dronie,helix,rocket are there, but circle that’s on the spark is missing on my Mavic Pro?
Maybe it’s supposed to be like that, because it has point of interest, which is circling the subject but better than circle mode? Dunno

If I remember right DJI said asteriod mode is not coming for the Mavic Pro, because it lacks the necessary computing power to process this mode.

As I started researching purchasing a DJI drone I found that the AIR had some great features... but the OcuSync and Way points made me decide that I want a Mavic Pro.... as a software developer and IT professional for over 20 years I find it hard to understand why this cannot be a simple add-on to the Mavic Pro, the code is already there to have the drone fly the course needed for the  boomerang just add it; the asteroid image processing as Zsolti added may hold true, but I still have reason to think this could still be accomplished in the application...

Mavic Pro lacks the necessary processing power to perform Asteroid and Boomerang, so I doubt you'll ever see that feature on a Mavic Pro. Combined with the fact that Mavic Pro is being phased out I don't think it's likely.

i think if dronie mode working on mavic pro astreod mode too  should be run on mavic pro.

Hmm, the Spark has more "computing power" than a Mavic Pro.  That's news to me.

Spark doesn’t have asteroid and boomerang,lol
It’s the mavic air that has them, well and the new mavic 2 also.

That's boolsh*t they say, every drone since Spark can do the same things. It's a matter of given permission in the app. I fly Spark with a modded app and I have waypoints,terrain follows, etc

Spark can't do Asteroid and Boomerang, they were introduced with Mavic Air. Most of those basic modes you see in Spark don't require much processing power. If you think about it, it does makes sense, because the drone has a lot to process to make the cool Asteroid effect in a few seconds.

OK, who is the keeper of Processing Power Spec's?   And for that matter, how much Processing Power each effect requires?

I totally agree, and you can not call yourself a drone pilot otherwise. Anyone can press a few buttons and let a machine do what it is expected to do. But with that said, I can easily join those who want more options. After all, it's not a computer game.

OK, well seems you 'Captains' need to get on the same page. Some of you guys are blaming the lack of effects due to low Processing Power of the MP - which I thought was bunk, and the others are saying it has nothing to do with Processing power.

Why don't you guys have a quick huddle and get your story straight?  Aren't you guys supposed to be the veteran team leaders here?

the mavic pro 9.2.2  will have the processing power!

The MP can fly Spiral too, it's matter of programming  and release it

It's been a while now any update to this as i think asteroids is impressive..
