I just got a samsung S8+ and when I hooked it up my P3s It seems the camera view is narroe and a lot of unessisary black area on the sides ,is there an adjustment anywhere to widden tge camera view .the picture realky doesnt do any justice but only about 2/3 of the screen is the cameraview
I think you are spot on. The camera mode appears to be switched to still photo, and if the OP has his camera set up for 4:3 aspect ratio, then that looks pretty right to me. Another thing that might also influence the narrow appearance is that the new phone might have a larger and longer screen, so the Go App cannot fill it as much.
There is a difference mostly on iOS devices. If you take videos then you don´t have any black borders but if you want to take photos then you get black borders left and right. Your screen cap shows me that you were in photo mode and not in video mode.
Hi Salmonslayer. I am sorry to know that you are having issue with the display of the DJI Go on you new device. Upon cheking the Samsung S8+ it is not yet a part of the recommended mobile device for the DJI Phantom 3 Standard. It is recommended to use a recommended mobile device for you to you to use and to utilize all the functions and features of the DJI Go. Just for reference I will post the list of recommended mobile device for the DJI Phantom 3 Standard. Thank you.
