After 5 minutes flight  . the transmission started to lagg a bit
short after i got the message that i skould return due to the the 4 go app didnt respond  .
I flew back drone was less than 50 meters from me
Only to see that the battery was cracked  . And it wasnt when i started

3 of my 5 batteries have that crack in the same place, not quite as big. I've noticed smaller cracks around the cover of them. I keep an eye on them and make sure they are not around points where there is, how do it want to put it, support points?

If it's  been 6 months or less since purchased,  you can have it replaced under warranty.

iv'e had cracks appear all over the end covers on many different age of battery, the main reason i think is poor quality plastic made worse by the retaining spring (for the clips) levering against the inside just next to the led slot .

Sorry to see that. If within warranty, please send it back for replacement.

A small amount of an epoxy may help hinder further cracking.

Or carefully drill a small hole in each end of the crack.

I get a kick out of some other forums posts. Haha

12 months and no drama  - touch wood.  But then I have only been through about 35 cycles so far.  Just haven't been getting the flying in that I'd like.
Summer is coming though --

Haha, yes, you and me both.

Well the good news, it’s supposed to warm up this weekend and next week.

So most of the freshly fallen  snow will be melted by then, again.

But I love fall, with the warm tones and brightly coloured trees..

You captured it well, here.

Snow ?  Snow ?  Have heard of it,  but it's not a major,  or even a minor problem here !!  Hahaha

We are going away for a couple of days and hope to get an hour or so of flying in.... .... ....   Now then,  it's shiny side up - if my memory serves me right ?? (And it seldom does nowadaze)

Yes, it’s a real white winter wonderland, for three months, then it warms up and spring has sprung, once again.

You would think the planet revolves around the Sun. Hahaha

I have an old friend (aren't we all ?)  lives on PEI.  He sends some glorious photos from time to time.
SWMBO & I would love to visit in winter to experience the other end of the thermometer scale - but only safe in the knowledge that we can get out of the place & back to the warmth when we are ready.
It must be beautiful !

Snow tires... hahaha

Chains for tires..

Thermos full of hot liquid, candles, survival gear, snow shovel and snow shoes, parkas, mits, wool socks. . . .

Did I mention toques?

But we live here as we love it. You could probably skate back, I heard of those roads they have... hahaha

Toques ?  I had to ask Dr Google !  We call them Beannies.

Whereabouts - roughly - are you living ?

I am in the SW of Western Australia.  We used to live up north,  but the older you get - the hotter it (seems to) get.  So we retired down here in the comparative cool.

I’m way up N. here. In wonderful Edmonton Alberta.

We are just about wrapping up our fall and will go into deep freeze winter season, for a few long cold months.

Often searching for warmer places to retire. If feasible. Haha

You want cool weather, we have plenty.
