Just looking for advice on if it's worth bringing the Mav up the mountain and not used all the follow modes or flown much lately. The resort I'm headed is one of the less busy Austrian resorts and only have 3 days. Seen videos where active track only followed at same altitude as the boarders were descending. Saw a post that Litchi will active track the phone as long as there is phone GPS. I could be picking up some speed on the piste's/groomed runs do what's max follow speed also?

I don't know the answers to your questions, but you may get more results if you change your title to something with Active Track or Follow Me - just my thoughts.

Keep in mind that in, as good as, all ski areas in Austria drones are forbidden, so you should inform, and or get permission, or go off-piste.

I would find out first if the drones are allowed where you plan to snowboard.
Almost all the ski resorts have banned drones by now
