I recently had to do some work for a artist friend of mine where we went out and did a bunch of drone shots at the lake of his art.  I rarely use the quick shot features, but on this case I tried the rocket feature which is quite nice but if you have to reverse the video and have moving elements around you it just ruins the shot.

I may be wrong but I didnt find any way to reverse the rocket in the app.  Granted the same funtionality would be done where you start with the subject highlighted and instead of taking the video it would fly its path then start the video from above flying down to the subject.  Of course hoping that it would stop where it started and not be off by a few feet hitting something near by    

Anyhow here is a video to showcase the issue im talking about, the first part is reversing the rocket video and you can see the waves on the lake are moving backwards



Btw I think this is the same for the dronie, if you need to reverse the video you can see things moving backwards.

I could try to manually fly it and for now I will but expanding existing features would be great to see from the DJI team.

Maybe this could be achieved with the addition of WayPoints. Having the AC start from the elevated position and descend to the required altitude.

Yea I think in general some of the quick shots should have the reverse option.. I think as stated above the rocket and dronie are deff candidates for this!

Hi stephen also to add to the topic,   the mini 2 quickshots is there no way to have the drone keep recording all the way back to the starting point I recently got mine and was doing a whole day of shots at a teen beauty pageant at a casino and my shot list was was based in the premis that the drone record all the way back to the starting point. So ya I know its a rookie mistake but is there any way that I can make the drone (mini2) record back to quickshot starting point.... thanks in advance
