yeah.. and I don't think you would catch me sitting over 4 unshielded high velocity props.. that pretty much is the antithesis of flying safely !!! thanks Gamora...

and as a criminal trying to get away I could take that bike down with a small piece of fishing net or a ball of string thrown at the props.. it would suck it down bind a prop and the bike would flip... epic..

If you read the article, it's not intended to be a cruiser out looking for perps, lol  

It's intended to aid first responders getting to a scene that otherwise might not be accessible - think earthquake, landslide, tornado, etc.  If the road is covered with debris, it's hard to get there with wheels.  I can see a place for it in an arsenel of tools.  But good lord, it does need some safety cages around those slice n dice ginsu's.

Agreed. A collision with an innocent bystander would also be catastrophic in every sense of the word. The fact there is no propellor protection is unbelievable. Whilst I admire pushing the boundaries for such technology, it must be safe to be established in a real world environment.
