Hi,
I have a Spark and Huawei P8 Lite phone that will be displayed on the black screen when I open the DJI GO app. (No live view), Some time ago I used the DJI Go app with the same phone and had no problems.

I tested the following and it was not successful:
1. I haven't problem with my wife's phone (Huawei Nova 2 Plus) and have live view, also haven't problems with Litchi app on my phone (Huawei P8 Lite).
2. I can record video and take photos and save on microSD card, I just do not have a live view and screen is black!
3. I removed the microSD card and once formatted it, but it was not successful and I did not have live view.
4. I restored the phone to factory settings. (full wipe and clear cache) I've erased and reinstalled the app many times.
5. When I remove microSD, I still do not have live view on my phone.
6. Restore camera settings in DJI GO app, but it was not successful and I did not have live view.

DJI Go version: 4.3.2 (I tested the v4.3.4 and v4.3.2 and did not have live view)
Spark Firmware Version: Latest update
Remote Firmware Version: Latest update

Note: I had no problems with this phone (Huawei P8 Lite) before, I'm really confused.

Upon checking the device that you are using which is the Huawei P8 Lite. I am sorry to say that the Huawei P8 Lite is not yet listed as a recommended mobile device for your DJI Spark. Using a non recommended mobile device can affect the performance of the drone together with the DJI Go 4 application. Yes, you need to downgrade your app version and you will have live view again.
That device in question simply can’t handle the latest app version, that’s why you get a black screen.

Yes, is correct.

The only question is:
Will the problem resolve with the android update? (for example update to android 7.0 or 8.0), or this is a hardware problem.

I just think to remember, that 4.2.24 created some other trouble on some devices.
4.2.21 however is stabil till release.
But as long it works stabil on your device, go for it.
Switch off auto update in playstore for this app!

it’s purely hardware issue.
Just downgrade and everything will be working.
Download past versions from apkmirror. 4.1.15 is very stable.
Disable auto updates of the apps in play market.
Enable installation from unknown sources on your device.
And just make sure to never update the app again on that device.

I had a similar problem : huge input delay using the app. (rc perfectly normal)
I have a huawei P8 lite 2017.

Now with 4.2.24 seems everything is running fine again!

Enable installation from unknown sources on your device
