I recently visited a Mavic forum site, but didn’t sign on and the discussion was on flying at Niagara Falls, NY USA . I have a bit of info as it is a State Park, however I don’t have actual info on flying there. I want to fly at a State Park (Letchworth). Here is what I need to do to fly there.......I need to obtain a $50 permit, so there is paperwork involved. They have to know 10 days prior to the flight, so you need to be a good weatherman. Also needed is proof of liability insurance ($2,000,000 aggregate and $1,000,000 each occurrence) plus fee to enter the park. I haven’t checked with my insurance company yet to see what that premium would be, but don’t think very much. Call your state park and they will give you the information.

Earlier this year I went to a state park near me (Huntington Beach State Park near Myrtle Beach, SC). I did't think they would allow drones so I brought my drone just in case and decided to ask. I was suprised all I had to do was fill out my contact info and my ... regristration and they gave me a permit that was valid for a few months. I guess every state park is different.

If you should ever visit Niagra, come to the Canadian side of the great falls. ha
