As in thread name I'm searching for info if anyone has tested that.
Have tested just one short flight and came up with one problem.
If you insert SD card you loose live view.
Have not tested the way point part do to wind.
Airdata log from that flight.

I tried it, it’s not working. It just says that the drone is not compatible and to install a compatible app and that’s it.

some have reported that certain android version work with the Pro.. but the iOS version does not connect to my Mavic Pro.. just reports incompatible ..

It connect OK on Android but I think it is not supposed to do that.
It discover the Mavic Pro and everything works as normal without SD card.
Just had to do it as it has waypoints as Litchi just to see if that works.
You can set up flight waypoints before flight on your tablet or phone and save it.

Ah ok, so it works on android. But I would not test the luck here as I don’t think it’s supposed to work.

Don't going to fly much on that as I might have to use CSC to get it down.
Tested a few times without props to bee sure it would not crass the phone.
The flight log looks ok.

Use CSC to get it down? Man I wouldn’t risk it flying it then.

Did you try without SD card in camera. The camera dont work if SD card is used and then you have no live view.

It's more question about have broken AC or no AC.

I did fly a 5 waypoint mission yesterday with my Samsung S8 phone connected to the Mavic 2 Pro with the SD card installed.  Everything worked as expected including record on/off.  The only issue I had was connecting to the drone.  I started the Mavic 2, connected to the controller, loaded DJI Pilot, and then pluged the phone into the USB port on the controller.  In that order...  Planning to test some more this weekend.  FYI, all of my firmeware is up to date as of 11/30/2018

Thanks for the info. It should work on M2P.
About the FW updating is NOT on my to do list.
Have been on modded 04.0300 FW for few months and don't going back.
Also on modded 4.15+ app.

I was wondering if the DJI Pilot would work with the Original MP.
Seeing that Litchi works even with the P3S and my MP.

I was hoping to go back to full DJI apps, but I got to wait and hope they get Pilot working for the MP.

Always like this Dji Pilot app more  and more on my MP and Samsung S7 or J5 .
This is the max light the auto focus could handle.
And that was bright.
