I was able to send it to ,   DJI  Cerritos CA,    yesterday  Thur.   Jan 31st,   to repair cracks,
   will keep all informed on  the progression of the repairs,

Not yet.  I checked with the dealer a few days ago & was told "It should have been sent to DJI by now"  That was more than 2 weeks after I left it with them.  Pretty off-hand I thought.
Realistically,  If I get it back by mid March is the best I can expect.

Unfortunately it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.......  I have had so much trouble in the 17 months I have had the thing :-
The original was replaced after 3 days (Gimbal noise)
The (new replacement) RC had to be returned to DJI as there were battery problems
There have been a few "software" issues that I couldn't deal with - so back to the dealer.
Then there's the "out of range" problems which saw it go back to DJI for weeks. (That was not resolved)
Now the cracking shell hiccup.

I love the bloody thing when it is behaving,   but quite frankly the "pain-to-pleasure" ratio is out of whack !

Just sent in another one for shell replacement. Most of the flights were automated missions where control was gentle and otherwise lived it a hard shell case. They just crack after a while.

My DJI warranty expired in December.  But I have a 12 month extended warranty provided by the supplier at the time of purchase.
There 'shouldn't'  be a problem,  but ..................

My high mileage P4P, purchased in 2016, was sent in this past Monday with stress cracks. The new replacement arrived on Friday. The DJI service department is a lot better than it used to be.

6 weeks after taking the Phantom into the place of purchase,  I still have nothing !
I called them last week & was informed it is on its' way back from repairs in Hong Kong.  (It had initially gone to Perth & then to Melbourne I think)
Bottom line is 6 weeks later - no drone & no advice as to when I can expect it back......  GGGRRRRRR !

Not good service,  not impressed at all.
I would ask DJI to help,  unfortunately I do not have anything like a repair number to quote.

Have any of you clever operators replaced a lower shell yourselves ?
I was very surprised that my drone had to be sent to Hong Kong for repairs when there is a perfectly good (?) DJI repair shop in Melbourne.

Next time I'm going to try the superglue baking powder mix...…..What could it hurt if its out of warranty?

mine is out of warranty,       so I am interested to find out how your repair goes,   please keep us informed

6 weeks & 3 days since the drone was taken back to the selling dealer.    I inquired as to progress of repairs  last week and after  a couple of calls got the information "It's on its' way back from Honk Kong"
I am not impressed & would have repairs to be effected in DJIs' workshop in Melbourne.

Waiting,  waiting .........

Nigh 8 weeks later I got my drone back from having cracks rectified.  It apparently went all the way to China to be repaired & was then replaced with another unit altogether !
This is my third new/replacement drone in less than 18 months !  Oh I have a replacement RC also.... ..... .... and then there have been a few incidental software issues !  One thing is for sure,  I'll be dead & gone long before this one is worn out !!

I laugh about it,  but really I am not impressed.
