Looks like this forum doesn't support polls?

But it might be an interesting topic to poll people here.

Curious about what percentage of forum members are getting it.

Does the higher prices of the newer products make it more or less of a value to get?

Or do you rely on third-party extended warranties or the extended warranty you get with credit cards?

Dont get cr in Norway. Atleast not any of the normal ways.
We are covered more extensivly by buyers right laws though, wich kinda does the same thing realy.

What kind of policy is that?

Not homeowners for that price, so maybe a rider on a homeowners policy?

I'm with Lucas ...I've never, ever, never had any DJI Care Refresh for any of my drones. I've used a reputable and reliable 3rd party drone mechanic I've used him once to fix my crashed drone. Got it fixed, up and flying within 3 days for a reasonable rate.

That's exactly what I have; a homeowners policy. The drone is covered.

The Zoom is my first.  Seemed like a reasonable option since I don't or didn't have any idea on how these things work and how often I might prune trees and shrubs!!

4th DJI drone, first time I've got the refresh. Was wary as brand new drone to the market until all the updates that are potentially needed

Never bothered with care refresh.
I figured I'd better keep the money in the pocket.
Twice. (one time for getting care refresh and the second time for using it)

Saving that money for my new purchase.
Since I don't 'need' the drone, that is my tactic

PAP policy= Personnel Articles Policy , I have my Home and Auto insurance through another company.  You also don't have to recover the drone if it gets lost.

I bought it.  But I’ve only flown and driven normal hobby stuff and I figured I’d crash this thing quick.  It might be much harder than I thought to destroy one of these.  Wish I knew about separate State Farm type insurance before though.  Only saw one post where someone had theirs drop into ocean and they’re not wanting to replace it even though it seems like mfg defect.  Home owners would cover that.

I did only because I've had one crash on my Mavic Pro that I got lucky on with the warranty and no DJI Care Refresh. Decided I wasn't going to cut it that close again.

It does but it blocks you if you support El Barça... yes, I buy DJI Refresh with all my drones, it is a very little expense compared to human stupidity.

Heh.

Being my first drone... I did. So far so good just getting comfortable with flying. Starting to have longer flights trusting the drone more every time out.

I purchased it with my new Mavic Pro 2 about 2 months back, but definitely not worth it.... did my 1st night time shoot the weekend and found the CMOS sensor has a white dead pixel. DJI Support wont replace under warranty or under the care package.... wanting me to send for repair and charge... absolute disgrace when you consider the cost of the drone + the care package + the fly more option.

I have had 8 drones and never bought care refresh.
I have a PAP from State Farm as well which covers replacement cost even if the drone is lost, which DJI care does not.
$3000 worth of coverage for $60 / year.
A no-brainer to me.
