ive had a few close calls in cities where we do a lot of work and i wondered if anyone has ever seen a device that could monitor frequencies that would cause problems for a flight in the city.
I had one fall out of the sky and they think its interfernce so i wondered if there might be something avilable to monitor things so it cant happen again

thanks

They really are a lot of radio for a few bucks. Whatever you do, listen only! It's actually illegal to transmit on frequencies that you are not authorized for. It comes with heavy penalties if you're caught. However, there's no law against listening to radio traffic. http://www.masterpaperwriters.com

assignmentprof's post was spam.

i'd be interested in a good scanner for this purpose too. you can use a simple mobile phone app to see signal strength of APs in the area of course.

or go for something dedicated (and more expensive) like this:

Now I'm hooked on this idea and looking into SDR (Software Defined Radio)!
