I have yet to get my Ronin S balanced with my Sony Alpha a7S ii, with batter grip, 24-70 2.8 and hot shoe mounted RODE mic.

I can get all set to Excellent but one each time.I have an issue with the second step (per the DJI Youtube video), when it states to point your lens straight up and let it drop. I cannot point it straight up because the Mic hits.

I need the extra battery and have to have the Mic, is this setup not going to work? Or, am I just doing it wrong?

Hi there, sorry to know the gimbal still cannot be balanced. Will all the axes be balanced without the hot shoe and external mic? May I have a picture of your extra accessories?
