@DJI Mindy,
I realize that this post is older... I am resurrecting for additional details.
I am not certain that your comment is completely technically correct.
The D-RTK hardware is identical, so that I can see and the only difference (technically) is the firmware.
I have an M600 with D-RTK and I am presented with a firmware update option to an M210RTK upgrade dated May 2018. The RTK hardware does not know which platform that I am using with the RTK (M600 vs M210).
There appears to be nothing stopping me from flashing my RTK with the M210 firmware and attaching it to an M210, unless you are stating that the M210 has been intentionally crippled so that a user already owning a RTK unit cannot logically mount and connect the RTK unit to an M210?
Additionally, If the RTK hardware is not identical, why then would I be seeing firmware updates for the M600/M600 pro and the M210RTK?
I would like to know what the engineers are saying, just be clear. Please tell us that DJI has not intentionally created a scenario where a user cannot utilize their current $5000 RTK unit on another aircraft. At least the ground station portion.
Last question:
Will the recent M210RTK firmware update for the D-RTK unit work correctly with the M600/600Pro series?
Regards,
