I’ve discovered the source of my noimage transmission woes has been that my new P4P 2 doesn’t seem to be connecting on 5.8 ghz.   If I force it to 2.4 ghz rather than dual mode everything works fine, but switching To 5.8 causes the noimage transmission issues.   I’ve reminded the remote and tried with multiple devices, but with the same result.   Anyone else seen this and have a suggestion for getting 5.8 to work?

Hi there, we're sorry for the inconvenience caused. Can you please try to refresh the firmware of the aircraft via DJI Assitant 2? And try to do Restore Factory Default with the RC. 5.8 Never was an option for my V2.0, grayed out. I got the same response to refresh and restart, nothing. It's in Cerritos CA as we speak for repair. My only resolve.

I went back and revisited this issue..At this time, I only showed 2.4ghz as the OP.

I also found the solution:

Go to remote setting and re-link the remote controller.
The remote will blink while it waits for you to hit to link button on the P4P.

Doing this updated my Go4 app and 5.8 is now an option

Mine always showed 5.8, and it was selectable, but selecting it would result in ‘no transmission’

Looks like mine turned out to be a bad camera board / flat flex cable.   As it was still under the original 15 day warranty DJI replaced them and shipped it back for free.

5.8 GH for me is useless. All the time I am using 2.4 GH because I can fly a lot further and have stronger signal.

In my country they call this device Flycam and usually use it at 2.4 gh to be able to receive a more stable signal, and not all devices can use 5.8 gh floor, thank the article And your comment I found it really helpful!
